If you have regular medication for a condition, that your doctor is aware of, you can periodically collect a repeat prescription from the practice without having to make an appointment. On all requests please include your full name, computer number, list of medication and where you would like to collect the prescription from.
Repeat prescription requests can be made by the following ways:
Our practice has been enabled to allow you to order your repeat medication on line. In order to make use of this facility, you must be registered as a patient with our practice. Only then can you register with this service. You can register for this by calling in at reception. Please be aware this system is for the ordering of repeat medication only and not to ask questions or email the doctor. Please state on your request which surgery you normally use. Please click on the link at the top right of the webpage.
You can send in a printed request slip (available from the practice, which shows the medication you are taking) or a handwritten request to the practice by post.
If you enclose a stamped addressed envelope we will then post your prescription back to you.
You can bring in your printed request slip or fill in a request form, in reception, any time during normal opening hours.
You can order your prescription by faxing it to:
- Willowbrook 0116 2411704
- Springfield Road : 0116 2701078
From Your Local Chemist
You can ask your local chemist to order and collect your prescription so you do not have to come to surgery. Please contact your local chemist and ask them to do this for you.
Please allow at least 48 hours (2 working days) for your prescription to be ready for collection. This allows the doctor to review your medication and sign the prescription. Please do not allow yourself to run out of medication, it is your responsibility to make sure you place your order so you do not run out. If you are going on holiday and need to order your medication early, please write on the order form the dates of your holiday. PLEASE NOTE -Although the prescription is processed within 48 hours (2 working days) in the practice- your pharmacy may require more time to get your medication ready- please let your pharmacy know when you have ordered your prescription.
